Oh god, this scene. For me, when it comes to horror movies, this is the ONLY kind of thing that genuinely and strongly gets to me, to the point where at times in certain films I've literally had to close my eyes and plug my ears, because I couldn't stand it anymore. Gore? No problem. Psycho killers like Jason or Kruger? No problem. Monsters such as zombies or demons? Bring it on. Person who has been abducted and is screaming, crying, begging for help, terrified and KNOWING they are going to die, that they'll never see those they love again, and just wanting someone, anyone, to save them, begging and pleading their captor for mercy, to please just let them go, that they don't want to die. No. No, no, NO. A thousand times no. I just can't stand it, even knowing it's not real. Except that it IS real. These exact scenarios HAVE happened, far too many times. It's just too much for me, seeing such a realistic depiction of what some victims final moments could have been. Does anyone else feel the same way when it comes to horror, or is it just me.
